Hero Electric has partnered with a Bengaluru based battery tech company Log9 Materials. This new partnership will see Hero Electric using Log9’s battery packs for its entire EV range.
The company claims that the integration of Log9’s batteries will fully charge Hero electric scooters within 15 minutes. This new tech is likely to make them India’s fastest charging e-scooters. Log9 claims to have a cell-to-pack battery tech that provides faster charging, performance and battery life by almost nine times.
The RapidX batteries are built to operate across a range of temperatures and comes with an operational life of 1o+ years. Plus, these batteries are safe from catching fire when operated under extreme temperature and riding conditions.
