Harley-Davidson Sportster S Review: Image Gallery

Harley-Davidson launched the new Sportster S in India back in December 2021 at the India Bike Week. As excited as we were to ride the bike, it took us long to get our hands on the Sportster S. Well, better late than never. We recently put the Sportster S to its paces and you can read our take on the bike here. As of now, let’s gawk at some of its most enchanting pictures from our review.

Visually, the motorcycle is unlike anything we have in our market. It’s a stunning amalgamation of a power cruiser, a flat tracker, and a bobber, with the high-slung dual exhausts seemingly inspired by British scramblers.

Some of the most conspicuous elements are the tiny oval-shaped headlamp, extremely fat tyres front and rear, chopped fenders, and minimal bodywork.

As modern as it looks, it is equally contemporary in terms of features. There’s a small yet data-intensive TFT console which can be toggled through the equally comprehensive switchgear comprising a lot of buttons.

Other electronic aids on offer include three riding modes (Sport, Road, and Rain), two customisable modes, engine brake control, ABS, and traction control.

Also, the suspension setup on the Sportster S is fully-adjustable which is a big step-up from the old Harleys. This is complemented by top-notch Brembo brakes at both ends.

Harley-Davidson Sportster S Engine From Left

Powering the Sportster S is a modern 1,250cc Revolution Max engine with liquid-cooling that churns out 121bhp and 125Nm of peak torque. There’s an incredibly strong low and mid-range pull which makes it rather easy ye thrilling to ride.

Harley-Davidson has priced the Sportster S at Rs 19 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) which keeps it in the ballpark of bikes like the Suzuki Hayabusa and Honda Africa Twin
