Harley-Davidson recently launched the X440 T in India, positioning it as the new flagship model in the 440 lineup. The motorcycle is available in four colours: Vivid Black, Pearl White, Pearl Red, and Pearl Blue.

Each colour will appeal to a different set of buyers, but our personal favourite is the Vivid Black paint scheme, which is an ode to the Harley-Davidson XR1200. The X440 T brings a host of updates that make it a more compelling proposition than the standard X440, especially in terms of styling and features.
One of the biggest shortcomings of the standard model was its tail-section design, which many riders found disproportionate. Harley-Davidson has now addressed that by revising the sub-frame and reworking the rear section. The result is a much cleaner, more cohesive silhouette.

On the features front, the X440 T takes a notable step up. It now comes equipped with ride-by-wire, switchable traction control, and switchable rear ABS. These additions also enable two ride modes: Road and Rain. Another highlight is a segment-first panic braking alert, which automatically flashes all indicators under hard braking to warn traffic behind.
The Harley-Davidson X440 T retains the same mechanical setup as its sibling. Powering the motorcycle is a 440cc, air/oil-cooled engine producing 27bhp and 38Nm of peak torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle is priced at Rs. 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the Harley-Davidson X440 T are now open at Harley-Davidson and Hero Premia outlets across India, with deliveries set to begin shortly.
