- Has a similar design to the RC 200
- Likely to be launched in early 2026
- Will rival the Yamaha R15
The KTM RC 160 is likely to be launched in India in the coming weeks. The bike is expected to have a price of around Rs. 1.85 lakh to Rs. 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
The upcoming RC 160 is likely to carry over the same design as the higher-capacity KTM RC 200, as revealed by previous spy shots.

The bike will be powered by the same 164.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 18.7bhp and 15.5Nm on the KTM 160 Duke. That said, KTM could alter the bike’s final drive ratio for better top-end performance.
Aside from this, the bike is expected to share most of its cycle parts in common with the KTM 160 Duke. It will be suspended on a WP Apex inverted fork and monoshock, and feature the same lighter alloy wheels as the KTM 160 Duke. The braking setup will likely consist of a 320mm front and 230mm rear disc brake, with dual-channel ABS.
KTM is likely going to offer the motorcycle with an LCD console, similar to what it has done with the 160 Duke when it was first launched. It will rival the Yamaha R15 4V, which is the only other performance-oriented supersport in the 150-160cc segment.
