EICMA 2025: CFMoto V4 SR-RR Unveiled with Over 200bhp

CFMoto has unveiled the V4 SR-RR at the ongoing EICMA trade show in Milan, Italy. The flagship litre-class motorcycle gives us a glimpse into how far Chinese bike makers have come with technological advancements.

CFMoto claims the V4 SR-RR brings together radical design and advanced R&D. Visually, the V4 SR-RR looks every bit as aggressive as its name suggests. The front end is razor-sharp, and the large active aerodynamic wings immediately grab attention. The prototype also features top-shelf hardware such as Brembo GP4-RR callipers, twin-barrel Akrapovič exhaust, semi-active suspension, steering damper, and slick Pirelli tyres.

Under the bodywork, CFMoto V4 SR-RR is powered by an all-new 997cc, 90-degree V4 engine that produces over 210bhp at the crank. The motorcycle weighs under 200kg. This should result in an excellent power-to-weight ratio, and CFMoto claims the engine offers a linear power delivery and instant throttle response.

CFMoto hasn’t revealed all the technical details about the bike, but these should be revealed next year. When launched, the CFMoto V4 SR-RR will compete against the likes of the Ducati Panigale V4, Aprilia RSV4, Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR, and the Yamaha YZF-R1.
