Ducati India has updated its portfolio with the launch of the BS6-compliant Monster. The motorcycle is available in two variants – Standard and Plus with prices starting from Rs 10.99 lakh onwards. Here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the new Ducati Monster BS6.

Right Side View

The new Ducati Monster BS6 gets a complete makeover for 2021. The new model features a leaner and aggressive design than its predecessor, the Monster 821.

Right Rear Three Quarter

The new Monster BS6 features an oval-shaped headlight, a sharp design for the fuel tank, rear panels, and the upswept exhaust canister with a slash-cut design. The Monster Plus variant further benefits from a flyscreen and seat cowl as standard.

Right Front Three Quarter

Ducati has revised the ergonomics and the handlebar on the 2021 model sits 70mm closer to the rider. The footpegs are 10mm lower than the previous model, thus delivering friendlier ergonomics on the Monster BS6.

The Monster Red variant is available at Rs 10.99 lakh while the Aviator Grey and Dark Stealth has been listed at Rs 11.09 lakh. The Ducati Monster Plus Red has been priced at Rs 11.24 lakh while the Grey and Dark Stealth colour schemes are available at Rs 11.34 lakh.

TFT / Instrument Cluster

The standard feature list on the Ducati Monster BS6 comprise full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-ready 4.3-inch TFT display. The Bluetooth module is available as an optional accessory.

Right Side View

The rider aids on the motorcycle include three riding modes (Sport, Urban, and Touring), wheelie control, traction control, ABS, cornering ABS, and launch control.

Right Front Three Quarter

The mechanical specifications on the new Monster include a BS6-compliant 937cc, Testastretta L-Twin, liquid-cooled engine that makes 111bhp of power at 9,250rpm and 93Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The six-speed gearbox gets an anti-slip clutch and quickshifter as standard.

The suspension tasks are performed by 43mm upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. The anchoring setup comprises 320mm twin discs with Brembo M4.32 monobloc four-piston callipers at the front and a single 245mm rotor with Brembo two-piston calliper at the back.
