Ducati marks 100 years with record-breaking World Ducati Week 2026

Ducati celebrated its centenary with the biggest edition of World Ducati Week to date, as the three-day event at the Misano World Circuit in Italy attracted 1.18 lakh visitors from 94 countries. Held every two years, the gathering brought together Ducati owners, enthusiasts, racers and employees to commemorate the Italian manufacturer's 100-year journey.

The celebrations began with Ducati's traditional motorcycle parade, which stretched for around 18km from the Misano World Circuit to Riccione.

On Saturday evening, the circuit hosted the main centenary celebrations, with appearances from former Ducati champions Casey Stoner, Troy Bayliss, Carl Fogarty and Loris Capirossi, alongside current factory riders including Francesco Bagnaia, Marc Marquez, Alex Marquez, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Nicolò Bulega. The evening concluded with a drone and fireworks display depicting key moments from Ducati's 100-year history.

One of the biggest attractions of the event was the Lenovo Race of Champions, which featured riders from MotoGP, WorldSBK, WorldSSP and national championships competing aboard specially Panigale V4 Tricolore motorcycles, finished in team liveries.

WorldSBK rider Nicolò Bulega converted his pole position into victory, finishing ahead of Alberto Surra and Lorenzo Baldassarri.

The event also served as a platform for Ducati to showcase its latest products and future direction. The company unveiled the new Desmo450 SM, its first production supermoto motorcycle, while the Heritage Village highlighted Ducati's century-long history through a dedicated exhibition and classic motorcycles.

Visitors also had access to the Ducati World area, which displayed the manufacturer's current range of motorcycles and featured interactions with engineers and designers responsible for developing its motorcycles.

Apart from the main attractions, the weekend included the Ducati V4 Elite Cup for Panigale V4 owners, the Lenovo V2 Future Champ Academy aimed at developing young racers, riding courses, road test rides, Hot Laps, freestyle motocross shows and stunt performances.

Ducati also organised the Ducati First Experience programme, which offered more than 240 riding sessions for children under the supervision of qualified instructors.

With the centenary edition complete, World Ducati Week 2026 stands as the largest edition of the event so far. With such a huge turnout of the Ducatisti, one can look forward to another action-packed World Ducati Week in 2028.
