- Will be powered by a Panigale V4-derived engine
- Launch likely in 2026
Ducati is developing a racier version of the Diavel V4, expected to be called the Diavel V4 RS. The information comes from a leaked document published by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The Ducati Diavel V4 RS is likely to use the same Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine that does duty on the Panigale V4 and the Streetfighter V4. This motor also powers the Multistrada V4 RS, which produces 180bhp and 118Nm of torque. The Diavel V4 in the RS guise would mark a significant jump in performance over the standard model.

Ducati could also equip the Diavel V4 RS with lighter components to bring its overall kerb weight down from the standard model’s 236kg.
Historically, Ducati has reserved the ‘RS’ badge for its higher-spec, limited-edition models, such as the Multistrada V4 RS and the Monster S4RS in the past. The Diavel V4 RS is likely to follow the same strategy and is expected to be produced as a numbered, limited-series model.

The Diavel V4 RS is scheduled to join Ducati’s 2026 line-up, with an official unveiling expected in the coming months.
