CFMoto is planning to re-enter the Indian market with the launch of the 450MT – an adventure motorcycle. The company is planning to tie up with an Indian partner to sell its range of motorcycles in the country.
The CFMoto 450 MT is already on sale in a lot of markets, and with the segment growing quite well in India, the Chinese firm is looking to make its presence felt. It has plans to launch more bikes in India, but initially, it will stick with the 450MT.

This ADV gets its power from a 449cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine with a 270-degree firing order. It produces 44bhp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 44Nm at 6,250rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. With a kerb weight of 195kg, it will be fun and easy to manage. The hardware package on the bike looks adventure-ready as the motorcycle rides on a 21/18-inch tubeless spoke wheel combination, wrapped on dual-purpose tyres. It is suspended by fully adjustable KYB suspension at both ends with 200mm suspension travel. Meanwhile, the braking duties are handled by a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc with J.Juan callipers.

On the features front, the 450MT has a curved five-inch TFT colour display with Bluetooth connectivity, full-LED lighting system, switchable traction control, and switchable dual-channel ABS. The instrument console comes with the facility to receive OTA updates. The CFMoto 450MT has a standard seat height of 820mm, which can be lowered to 800mm, while the company also offers a taller 870mm seat as an accessory.
The CFMoto 450MT will be launched around the festive season this year and is likely to carry a price tag of around Rs. 4 lakh to Rs. 4.3 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the Royal Enfield Himalayan, KTM 390 Adventure, and also the upcoming BMW F450GS.
