CF Moto Launches Budget Brand CF Lite

CF Moto has decided to enter the world of affordable motorcycles with a budget brand – CF Lite. The company made this move at the Makina Moto Expo 2025.

Over the years, CF Moto has developed and sold a range of big and premium bikes in China and other developed markets. Most of these bikes are in 300cc-plus segments, and it looks like the company believes there is a big market in entry-level premium markets. However, it doesn’t want to dilute the famous CF Moto brand.

So it decided to introduce a new CF Lite range of bikes that will go on sale in China very soon. The Chinese brand unveiled three bikes – 250NK Lite, 250SR Lite, and Dual 230. All these bikes will be fully manufactured in China.

While the Dual 230 is built around a 223cc air-cooled engine, the 250s are powered by a 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor that makes around 27bhp and 22Nm of peak torque. All these bikes are pretty good-looking and are likely to entice the Chinese market.

CF Moto is planning to re-enter the Indian market with the 450MT adventure bike. However, the Indian partner is still being finalised. Sadly, none of these new smaller-displacement motorcycles will come to the country as the brand is focusing more on 450cc-plus segments in India.
