CEAT has introduced new range of radial tyres under their new brand ‘Zoom Rad X1’. The tyres were launched at 2017 India Bike Week through the hands of the motorcycle racing legend Freddie Spencer.
Zoom Rad X1 radial tyres have been designed for motorcycles with displacement between 200cc and 400cc. The tyres are ‘H’ rated, that means it will perform as expected upto 210kmph. The company claims that these new tyres have soft and high grip compound for better leaning and cornering abilities.
The Zoom Rad X1 tyres are available in three sizes, 130/70R17, 110/70R17 and 150/60R17. So it fits motorcycles like the Bajaj Dominar, Yamaha YZF-R15 and the KTM Dukes. The premium entry-level motorcycle segment has seen a good growth over the last few years. This prompted CEAT to introduce tyres that could cater to this audience.
