- New F450GS spotted testing in India
- Looks production-ready
- Will be made by TVS in India
BMW Motorrad’s upcoming most affordable adventure bike – the F450GS has been spotted testing near TVS’ factory in Hosur. This is the first time a test mule of this bike has been spotted testing.

Despite heavy camouflage, the bike appears close to production. Key design elements hint at its GS lineage, especially the fairing, which mirrors the proportions of the F450GS Concept unveiled at EICMA 2024 and later showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The test bike also featured a BMW-branded instrument cluster, confirming its identity.
Other visible cues include a front brake setup similar to the concept and a 19-inch front alloy wheel—suggesting that BMW may offer multiple variants. Suspension is expected to include a fully adjustable USD fork and a monoshock with load-dependent damping. While the concept weighed 175kg, the final version may be slightly heavier.

At the heart of the F450GS is a newly developed 450cc, twin-cylinder engine, producing 48bhp and tuned for strong mid-range performance. It will be paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. As with other BMW models, many premium features are likely to be offered.
With the G310GS now discontinued, the F450GS will play a crucial role in BMW’s India portfolio. Expected to be priced between Rs. 4 lakh and Rs. 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom), it will compete directly with the KTM 390 Adventure and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 in the fast-growing ADV segment.
