- Launch likely in late 2025
- Will be powered by a 450cc, parallel-twin motor
- TVS will manufacture it in India
The much-anticipated BMW F 450 GS has been spotted testing once again—this time in what appears to be its production-ready guise. While previous sightings of the motorcycle featured heavy camouflage, the latest spy shots reveal the clearest look yet at the upcoming entry-level adventure tourer from BMW Motorrad.

Unlike the earlier concept model, the latest test mule features fully finished bodywork, including a tall touring-style windscreen, vertically-stacked LED headlamp, and a longer rear section, hinting at its touring-focused demeanour. This version is a road-biased variant, riding on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels.

However, BMW is expected to introduce a more off-road-focused variant in the future, likely equipped with tubeless cross-spoke wheels for better rugged terrain performance.

Under the bodywork, the BMW F 450 GS will use a steel bridge trellis frame with a bolt-on sub-frame. It houses the all-new 450cc, parallel-twin motor that will produce 48bhp and around 45Nm of peak torque. This engine will be paired with a six-speed gearbox, and BMW claims it will be quite characterful and rev-happy.

The concept bike weighed 175kg, had a 14-litre fuel tank, and sported a 6.5-inch colour TFT display. While the production model may see a slight increase in kerb weight due to added hardware and road-ready components, the rest of the specifications are expected to remain unchanged.

The BMW F 450 GS is expected to be launched in India towards the end of 2025. Once launched, it will rival the KTM 390 Duke, Aprilia Tuono 457, and the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450.
