Bajaj to introduce tubeless tyres for the Avenger Street

Bajaj has revealed that they are going to introduce tubeless tyres for the Avenger Street models in the next few months.

Bajaj recently launched the Avenger in three new trims, diversifying the entry-level cruiser to cater to a wider audience. Of these, the two Avenger Street models came with blacked-out alloy wheels to give them the look and character of a sporty cruiser. However, Bajaj says that they had to take the decision of launching these models with tubed tyres, as a precaution against consumers damaging the alloy wheels. All three Avenger models currently use MRF Nylogrip Zapper tyres. For the Avenger 220 Cruise however, Bajaj will continue to offer tubed tyres.

Bajaj is currently developing a different type of tyre for the Avenger 150 Street and the Avenger 220 Street, which will be used in place of the current models’ tubed rubbers. Bajaj plans to silently introduce this update as soon as the new tyres are ready.
