- Floorboard-mounted 2.5kWh NMC battery; claimed 113km range; top speed 55kmph
- Twin telescopic suspension units up front
- Motor develops 2.2kW power; weighs in at 107kg
Bajaj has released the Chetak C25 priced at Rs. 91,399 (ex-showroom Bangalore) as a new agile handler on crowded city roads. The C2501 is built around day-to-day ease. Quick at changing direction, it comfortably filters through tight gaps and offers predictable handling on broken urban surfaces. Propelled by a rear wheel hub motor, the C25 can achieve a top speed of 55kmph.
Power comes from a 2.5kWh NMC battery mounted in the floorboard, keeping the mass low and central. With its 2.2kW of power, 763mm seat height, and light kerb weight at 107kg, the C25 should be easy for most riders. Bajaj claims 113km of range, which should be enough for most city use. Charging is done from 0–80 per cent in 2 hours 25 minutes, with a full charge in under four hours. It gets a 750W off-board charger. There is Hill Hold Assist as well, and the scooter is claimed to climb a 19 per cent gradient with two people on board.

The Chetak C25 gets twin telescopic suspension units, unlike other Chetak models that use a single front unit. This should translate into a more confident front end when you are braking late, turning quickly, or dealing with uneven patches.
This scooter offers a 25-litre boot, colour LCD speedometer, and a 650mm full-length seat. Bajaj also calls out the Chetak’s metal body and an IP67 rating, focussing on long-term durability in dust and rain.
