After launching the Xero+ last year, Avan Motors has revised the prices of the e-scooter in order to make scooter more accessible. Priced at Rs 47,000 ex-showroom, the Xero+ sits above the base variant, Xero, in the company’s product portfolio.
Featuring a conventional design well accepted by prospective buyers, the Xero+ is powered by a pair of detachable lithium-ion batteries. Each battery has a charge time of 2 to 4 hour and can be charged from a regular wall-mounted plug point. The company claims that with a single battery the Xero+ is capable of returning a range of 60km and with a two battery setup, a combined range of 110km. The e-scooter is capable of achieving a top speed of 45kmph.
Other cycle parts include a disc brake at the front and a drum brake unit at the rear. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and dual coil spring shock absorbers at the rear. The scooter's maximum load carrying capacity is rated at 150kg.
The company will also providing after-sales services, Road Side Assistance (RSA), extended warranty and an initial spare parts tool kit with the first batch of its scooters being sold. Available across all authorised dealership in the country, the Xero+ is available in four colour shades blue, black, white and red.
