Bangalore-based electric two-wheeler brand Ather Energy is all set to make its portfolio more vibrant by introducing new colours for its 450X Gen 3 electric scooter. The company is hosting an event called Ather Community Day for the same tomorrow, 7 January 2023 in Bangalore.
Although the company hasn’t officially revealed anything about this yet, the pictures of the new colours have already leaked online. These pictures reveal new shades namely Cosmic Black, Lunar Grey, Salt Green, and Ravishing Red. Notably, these colours are different from the existing trims which include Space Grey, White, and Mint Green.
Interestingly, the new Ather 450X will apparently get a few functional updates as well. The leaked pictures show that it will sport a revised single-piece seat with a different design and size for more comfort. And the changes have been executed for the rider as well as the pillion. Additionally, we might also see the electric scooter get new features but there’s no concrete information available on that front yet. The battery and motor specifications are likely to remain unchanged. Hence, the 450X will continue to use a PMSM electric motor that makes 8.31bhp and 26Nm which is higher than the 7.24bhp and 22Nm produced by Ather 450 Plus.
