2025 has been really eventful for Indian two-wheeler enthusiasts so far. We have seen a host of big launches take place in varying segments almost every month. However, what if we told you that things are going to get more interesting hereon? It became quite clear after we compiled a list of all the mid-size motorcycles, in no particular order, that will most likely grace the Indian shores this year. And given the ever-increasing popularity of adventure tourers in India, it’s not surprising that almost all the bikes in this list belong to that category.

CFMoto 450MT
The CFMoto 450MT has been one of the talked-about motorcycles in the adventure biking fraternity. Courtesy of all the praises given to the bike by the international media and social media posts showing the bike being used to do some hardcore off-roading, the bike has been highly anticipated in India. The better news is that CFMoto is prepping to launch the bike on our shores close to the festive season. We were fortunate enough to be the first ones in India to ride the bike and give out our first impressions about it.

TVS RTX 300
The RTX 300 is another adventure tourer that will be launched within 2-3 months. Interestingly, this will be the first-ever ADV from TVS and the first motorcycle to employ the brand’s new 300cc engine. The bike made its first appearance at Bharat Mobility Expo in January 2025 followed by the spy shots of its production-ready version surfacing on the internet on multiple occasions. It’s clear from the spy shots that this will be majorly inclined towards road-riding with a 19-17-inch alloy wheel setup. However, TVS might offer a more off-road-centric variant of the bike.

BMW F 450 GS
The BMW F 450 GS concept made its first public appearance in India at the Expo 2025 after its global unveil at the EICMA last year. This will be the smallest and most affordable multi-cylinder offering by BMW. The production version of the bike was recently spotted undergoing test runs and it looked quite different and more road-biased from the concept that looked off-road-ready. It will be manufactured in India by TVS and the official launch is expected to take place around November-December this year.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750
The globally popular Himalayan name will soon get the 750 suffix. After riders have been demanding for a bigger Himalayan for a long time now, Royal Enfield has been testing and prepping the 750cc version of the motorcycle, which will mostly be launched this year itself. The motorcycle has been spied a few times till now and, clearly, it’s more of a tourer than an off-roader with a 19-17-inch spoke wheel combination and seemingly heavy weight. More motorcycles based on the same platform will debut starting next year.

KTM 390 SMC R
This will mark the entry of accessible supermotos in India. The KTM 390 SMC R will share most of its components with the 390 Enduro R but, in typical supermoto fashion, will ride on 17-inch wheels at both ends with road-biased tyres. It should be a great offering for riders looking for a playful road bike but with suspension long enough to pull off jumps and slides comfortably. It will be more affordable than the 390 Enduro R, which costs Rs. 3.36 lakh, and the official launch should take place in a couple of months.
