New Honda Forza 350: Details Explained

Honda recently unveiled the Forza 350 in Thailand with a price tag of THB 1,73,500 (approx. Rs 4.16 lakh). The maxi-scooter is a replacement for the Forza 300 which is likely to be launched in India next year. Here, we list out everything there is to know about the new Honda Forza 350.

Redesigned bodywork

The Forza 350 sports the same styling as the Forza 300 although with slight tweaks to its bodywork to give it a distinctive appeal. The brushed silver finished components are now replaced with grey parts. It also gets angular rear view-mounted turn indicators and black bits on the front fairing that make the Forza 350 look sharper. Honda also equipped the 350 with a shorter windscreen and is offering the scooter in four colour options- Black, Red/Black, Blue/Black, and White/Blue.

Revised dimensions

The Honda Forza 350 is 109mm shorter than the Forza 300 but has 3mm more ground clearance. Moreover, the new maxi-scooter is also 2kg heavier than the outgoing model at 185kg and features a larger 11.7 litre fuel tank.

The rest of the features which include keyless ignition, semi-digital instrument cluster remain the same.

Honda announced that is likely to launch the Forza 300 in India in 2021 after selling four units of the BS4 compliant scooter in India. However, with the company requiring to update the motor to comply with BS6 norms and the need for heavy localization to keeps costs low, it is uncertain whether the Forza 350 will make its way to India. Even if it does arrive, the maxi-scooter will demand a considerable premium while creating a niche of its own in the country.
