The last week was an interesting mix of new two-wheeler launches along with price hike for a few products while discount for others. To give you a quick recap, here are the top five two-wheeler updates from the last week.
Bajaj Pulsar 125 BS6 split-seat variant price revealed
The split-seat variant of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 BS6 has started reaching dealerships ahead of its official launch. Moreover, our dealer sources have also revealed its pricing which stands at Rs 79,079. The Pulsar 125 split-seat is the more premium variant over the already-available drum brake and disc brake models. It gets Pulsar 150-inspired decals, belly pan and split grab rails. As of now, it is available only at select dealerships across India but Bajaj will make it available in all showrooms soon.
TVS Apache RTR 160, RTR 180 prices increased
TVS has increased the prices of its oldest-running Apache models, the RTR 160 and the RTR 180. While the former has become dearer by Rs 2,000, the latter is Rs 2,500 more expensive now. Following the price hike, the RTR 160 now retails at Rs 97,000 (front disc) and Rs 1,00,000 (dual discs) while the RTR 180 costs Rs 1,03,950.
Harley-Davidson Street Rod discount
Harley-Davidson has slashed the price of the Vivid Black colour variant of the Street Rod by Rs 56,500 in India. The motorcycle has now been pegged at Rs 5.99 lakh. Meanwhile, the rest of the three paint schemes including Grey, White and Orange demand a premium of Rs 68,000 over the black colour trim. Notably, the Street Rod is Harley’s second most affordable bike in India after the Street 750, the model it is based on.
Triumph Bonneville T100, T120 Black editions launched
Triumph has launched the Black edition variants of its modern-classic offerings, the Bonneville T100 and the T120. While the former is priced at Rs 8.87 lakh, the latter carries a price tag of Rs 9.98 lakh. Both models are identical to their respective standard counterparts in terms of hardware. What differentiates them are a bunch of cosmetic elements which lend them a factory-custom look. Apart from the standard components, Triumph is also offering an accessory range for those who want to further personalize their Black edition models.
Jawa Classic, Forty-Two BS6 specifications revealed
After a few months of launching the BS6-compliant models of the Classic and Forty-Two, Jawa has now revealed the specifications of these bikes. Both bikes share a common 293cc, single-cylinder engine which has lost 0.9bhp and 0.5Nm over its BS4 version. The performance numbers now stand at 26.1bhp and 27.05Nm. What’s more, the BS6-bound changes have also brought along a hike of 12kgs in their kerb weight as they tip the scales at 182kg now.
