- TVS Jupiter BS6 prices hiked
- Increase by up to Rs 651
- No mechanical or cosmetic changes
TVS Motor Company has increased the prices of the Jupiter BS6 range in India.
The standard Jupiter and Jupiter ZX receive a hike of Rs 613 and now cost Rs 62,062 and Rs 64,062 each. On the other hand, the top-of-the-line Jupiter Classic is now priced at Rs 68,562; an increase of Rs 651.
However, the entire Jupiter range remains the same cosmetically and mechanically despite the price hike. It continues to be powered by a 110cc, single-cylinder engine with fuel injection. This motor produces 7.4bhp and 8.4Nm and comes mated to a CVT Automatic transmission.
In other news, TVS also increased prices of the Apache range, Sport,Radeon as well as Ntorq 125 and Scooty Pep Plus recently. Furthermore, the manufacturer is expected to launch the BS6-compliant Victor and Scooty Zest 110 in the country soon.
