- 2020 Honda Shine launched in India
- Gets BS6 motor, five speed gearbox
- Rs 8000 more expensive than the BS4 model
Honda has launched the BS6 version of its famous 125cc motorcycle, the Shine. This new 2020 model has been priced at Rs 67,857 (ex-showroom Delhi).
This new Honda is approximately Rs 8000 expensive than the BS4 variant. But for the extra few thousand rupees, the Shine gets a BS6 engine that is now mated to a five-speed gearbox. It also gets the engine start/stop integrated switch and a new DC headlamp. The headlamp and pass functions have been integrated into one switch.
In terms of aesthetics, the BS6 Shine gets a lot of chrome treatment all around the motorcycle. The scooter gets a six year warranty scheme where the first three years are standard and the next three comes as optional. The 2020 Shine is available in two variants – drum and disc and is being offered in four colours – black, grey, red and blue.
