Ducati has claimed the title at the 2019 JK Tyre Indian National Superbike Racing Championship.
The factory team consisted of Rajini Krishnan and Dilip Lalwani along with Bhumik Lalwani from Ducati India’s dealer partner team. While Rajini and Dilip secured 1st and 2nd place in race 2 of the 1000cc superbike category, Bhumik finished in 4th place. However, he secured the win in race 1 which led him to win the championship.
On the other hand, Dilip Lalwani placed 2nd overall in the championship standings. All three riders raced aboard the Panigale V4 S. Moreover, the 1000cc category grid also witnessed Neharika Yadav, the only woman finish the race on her 899 Panigale. This is the second consecutive year wherein Ducati India has clenched the title at the JK Tyre National Superbike Racing Championship with the last win being in 2018.
