Okinawa, a Gurugram-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, is reportedly planning to invest Rs 200 crore in order to increase its production capacity in the next financial year, 2020-21. As a part of this plan, the company intends to setup a new manufacturing facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, alongside the existing plant in the same region. While the production capacity of the current facility stands at 180,000 units annually, Okinawa aims to roll out up to 10 lakh units from the new facility.

The electric two-wheeler maker sold 40,000 units in the previous financial year. The company foresees this number to be doubled this year and reach around 75,000-1 lakh units.
