The 2019 Mahindra Mojo UT300 was spotted once again in India. While the previous spy shots only revealed the front disc ABS ring and the updated instrument cluster, the new pictures show the motorcycle at its fullest.
Going by the pictures, Mahindra has not executed any cosmetic changes on the motorcycle. The major change comes in the form of the inclusion of an ABS setup. The pictures reveal a ring on both the discs (front and rear) indicating that the motorcycle will receive a dual-channel ABS mechanism. Subsequently, the semi-digital instrument cluster of the Mojo now seems to include an ABS indicator, besides other information.
The Mojo UT300 is powered by a 295cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, carbureted motor which churns out 22.5bhp of power and 25.2Nm of torque. This unit comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels while the suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, braking is taken care of by a 320mm disc up front and a 240mm disc at the rear.
Mahindra skipped updating the Mojo UT300 and the XT300 with ABS before the 1 April deadline. Now, with the former being spied with the safety feature, Mahindra is likely to launch the ABS-equipped motorcycle soon. Notably, the company might also be readying the Mojo series with BS-VI-compliant motor which is likely to delay the launch of the bikes further. While the Mahindra Mojo UT300 is currently priced at Rs 1.49 lakhs (ex-showroom), the updated model is expected to receive a considerable hike over the outgoing motorcycle.
