BMW F 750 GS and F 850 GS launched in India at Rs 11.95 lakhs and Rs 12.95 lakhs

- Offered in three variants each.

- F 750 GS road-biased variant while F 850 GS is off-road focused.

- Powered by 853cc, parallel-twin engine.

The BMW F 750 GS and F 850 GS have been launched in India with prices starting at Rs 11.95 lakhs and Rs 12.95 lakhs (ex-showroom, India) respectively.

The bikes are also offered in two additional variants; Pro Low Suspension and Pro. The F 750 GS Pro Low Suspension costs Rs 13.20 lakhs while the Pro version retails at Rs 13.40 lakhs. Meanwhile, the F 850 GS Pro Low Suspension and Pro are priced at Rs 14.20 lakhs and Rs 14.40 lakhs each. (all prices ex-showroom, India). 

The F 750 GS and F 850 GS sport styling similar to their predecessors although with a redesigned, sharper fairing. The fuel tank is now conventionally placed unlike the earlier bikes, under-the-seat tank. The bikes also get a LED headlamp with LED DRLs and a 6.5-inch TFT instrument console. 

While the F 750 GS rides on alloy wheels shod with road biased tyres, the F850GS gets spoke wheels with dual-sport tyres, knuckle guards, fork protectors and a taller windscreen to make it off-road capable. The bikes’ electronic package consists of ABS, cruise control, quickshifter and traction control. It also includes two riding modes- Rain and Road as standard on both bikes with an additional ‘Enduro Pro’ mode on the F 850 GS. BMW is offering ‘Dynamic’ and ‘Enduro’ modes as standard on the Pro variants. 

Interestingly, both the F 750 GS and F 850 GS use the same 853cc, parallel-twin engine however with different power outputs. The F 750 GS gets 75bhp while the F 850 GS gets a 93bhp power output. The BMW F 750 GS and F 850 GS compete against the Triumph Tiger 800 and Ducati Multistrada 950 in India.
