TVS’ upcoming premium scooter has once again been spotted testing in Karnataka. A production version of the Graphite concept shown at the 2016 Auto Expo, this scooter is expected to make its debut in the first quarter of 2018.
Despite the heavy camouflage, the design influence of the Graphite concept is clearly visible. The angular front apron gives it the trendy look of an European maxi-scooter. A few aggressive styling cues have been subdued to make it production feasible. While there is no word about the powertrain, we can expect this scooter to get a 125cc engine. It rides on telescopic fromnt forks, with alloy wheels.
Although a major chunk of scooter sales are from the 110cc segment, sales of 125cc scooters have been rising steadily over the past few months, especially in urban areas. The sharp styling and powerful engine of this new scooter is sure to catch the attention of the audience. We can expect the production version of this scooter to debut at the 2018 Auto Expo.
