Mahindra Two Wheelers has introduced a new limited edition version of the Gusto 110 for the Indian market at Rs 48,180 (ex-showroom Pune). The company is also offering a cashback of Rs 6000 if this limited edition model is bought via PayTM app. However, this offer is valid only till 20th October.
The company has introduced this variant to add little excitement to its product portfolio this festive season. This limited edition variant gets visual upgrades only. It gets a dual tone paint schemes and also some racing decals to give it a sporty appeal. There’s also RS badging on the front. Mahindra is offering this model with two paint options – red and blue. Mechanically the scooter remains unchanged. The Gusto 110 continues to be powered by the same 110cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor which produces 8bhp and 9Nm. The motor is mated to a CVT gearbox.
Mahindra has decided to exit the competitive mass market segment and focus only on premium brands. The launch of the limited edition Gusto 110 can also be their stock clearance exercise. Currently, that’s the only product that sells the most. The Gusto 125 scooter failed to entice the market and the Centuro eventually lost its flavour, resulting into poor sales.
