Royal Enfield Himalayan to be sold in US

Royal Enfield is gearing up to sell its adventure bike, the Himalayan in the US. The company is currently in the process of certifying this bike to meet the US regulations.

The Himalayan’s launch in US is a part of the company’s aggressive expansion. Out of all the products shown, the Himalayan saw a positive response as per the company. One of the top honchos of the company said that the adventure bike segment is the only segment in US. 

This entry-level Himalayan bike had its own set of niggles in its home country, India. But the Chennai-based company has been slowly improving this product in terms of the overall quality through silent recalls. In fact, sources say that Royal Enfield has fixed all the issues in the fuel-injected model which was recently introduced in India. The US certification rules are quite stringent and we hope the Royal Enfield manages to get that certification. If it does, we would love for the US version to be sold in India as well.
