Suzuki records 62 per cent growth in sales for July 2017

Suzuki Motorcycle India has recorded a 62 per cent growth in overall sales for July this year with 40,038 units sold over the 24,703 units it sold in the same month last year. The company attributes the growth to domestic sales which saw a 78 per cent growth over last year.

As for the first quarter of FY2017, Suzuki recorded a 40.6 per cent growth between April to July. It registered a total sale of 1,66,456 units during this period. The company is targeting a total sale of 5,00,000 units for FY2017-2018. Suzuki also plans to introduce new models in the light of the upcoming festive season in India and expects a steady growth thanks to a good monsoon spell this year.
