Suzuki Motorcycles sales increase by over 51 per cent in May 2017

Suzuki Motorcycle India has recorded a 51.69 per cent increase in overall sales for May 2017 with 38,923 units sold over the 25,659 units it sold in May 2016.

The manufacturer attributes its sales figures to its flagship models, the Access 125 and the Gixxer. Suzuki says that May was the fourth consecutive month wherein double-digit sales were recorded. 

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, started its India operation in February 2006. SMIPL has its manufacturing facility in Gurgaon, Haryana with a capacity of producing 5,40,000 units per annum.
