The Supreme Court’s ruling of ban on sales of BS-III compliant two-wheelers from April 1st 2017 has made manufacturers and its dealers offer massive discounts on its products to clear the stocks.
Honda dealers across the country are offering discounts on BS-III bikes and scooters. The highest discount is seen on the Unicorn, Navi, CB Shine range and the Dream bikes. Dealers are knocking off close to Rs 18,000 from the ex-showroom price. It’s the same story for its scooters. The Activa 3G and the Aviator are being offered with price reductions upto Rs 13,000.
While these mouth-watering discounts might tempt you to get a Honda home, the catch is, you need to pay the full amount by tomorrow, as the offers are valid only till March 31st, 2017. The Japanese manufacturer won’t be allowed to sell its BS-III bikes from April 1st, 2017.
The process of paying RTO tax is online, because of which dealers will be able to pay the tax for all the sold two-wheelers by tomorrow evening. The tax receipt is generated online too, and will be handed over to the customers.
