What else can you buy for the price of the Triumph Bonneville Bobber?

The Triumph Bonneville Bobber is probably one of the best looking big bikes in the Indian market. This single- seater motorcycle sits between the Bonneville T120 and the Thruxton R in its modern classic line-up. It is loaded with modern gizmos like traction control system and anti-lock braking system and with a price tag of Rs 9.81 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), it surely is a tempting buy. But if you’re one of those who is ready to spend around Rs 10 lakh for a motorcycle, here is the list of bikes you should also look at along with the Triumph Bonneville Bobber.

There are very few options if you plan to save up some money from your next purchase. There’s the Triumph Bonneville T100 at Rs 8.55 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). This bike, although less powerful and lacking in the charm of a Bobber, is sufficiently equipped with all the modern retro bits that you would want. At 9.33 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), there’s also the Kawasaki Z900, which was launched recently. This motorcycle will pump up your adrenaline each time you open the throttle.

If you could stretch your budget by a lakh, your options become quite interesting. The Bennelli TNT 899 would set you back by Rs 9.89 lakh, but in return, will give you a good experience. If you’re a fan of naked bikes, the Yamaha MT-09 might also interest you. At Rs 10.20 lakh, this Japanese motorcycle is one of the most affordable street-naked models in the big-bike segment in India. For cruiser fans, there are three more options – all from the same manufacturer – Harley-Davidson. At Rs 9.91 lakh, you can look at the 1200 Custom and if you like a lot of chrome on your bike, chances are you would put money on this Harley. The Forty Eight at Rs 10.31 lakh looks like a good deal too, but the tiny fuel tank might urge you to give it a pass and instead look at the Roadster, which is the latest bike from the legendary American manufacturer. If you have a thing for red and Italians, do see the Ducati Monster 821. It will cost you Rs 10.65 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), but offers the best electronic equipment and features.
