UM Motorcycles has opened a new showroom in Varanasi. The third UM dealership in Uttar Pradesh, this dealership is located at Hotel Regenta, Airport Road, Byas Bagh, Varanasi.
Spread over an area of 2,700 square feet, this is the 23rd UM dealership in the country. Like the rest of the UM showrooms, UM Varanasi integrates sales, spares and service facilities and also offers a 24x7 roadside assistance programme for its customers. Apart from motorcycles, this showroom also sells UM’s range of motorcycle accessories and apparel.
UM is planning to set up set up 17 more dealerships by the end of this year and is targeting monthly sales of over 3,000 units. The company currently has two motorcycles in its range – the Sports S and the Renegade Commando, though we can expect three more to be added over the next few months. For now, the company manufactures its motorcycles at Lohia Motors’ facility in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, though it eventually plans to invest in its own manufacturing unit.
