Suzuki launches 2017 Gixxer and Gixxer SF

Suzuki has launched the 2017 Gixxer and Gixxer SF priced at Rs 77,452 and Rs 89,659 (both ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. Apart from new paint schemes, these models have been updated to meet BS IV emission norms.

Last year, Suzuki launched the Gixxer with a rear disc brake. This version is now available in two dual tone paint schemes - red/black and blue/black and one solid paint scheme - black. However those who wish to go for the rear drum brake variant have only one colour option - black.  All these bikes get a 'Gixxer' decal on the fuel tank, while the tail lamp now features a clear lens. The Gixxer SF also gets a new sticker job. The Gixxer SF Fi on the other hand, which was available only in the MotoGP livery, can also be opted in blue and black paint schemes. All models are now offered with automatic headlamp on (AHO) feature.

Under the skin is the same 155cc single-cylinder engine which delivers 14bhp and 14Nm of torque through a five-speed gearbox, though it has been updated to meet BS IV emission norms. The rear disc brake variant of the Gixxer has been priced at Rs 80,528, while the fuel-injected Gixxer SF Fi retails at Rs 93,499 (both ex-showroom, Delhi).
