UM Motorcycles has opened a new showroom in Dehradun. The first UM dealership in Uttarakhand, this dealership is located at GMS Road, near Chaudhary Farm House in Dehradun.
Spread over 2,500 sq. ft., this dealership integrates sales, spares and service facilities. Apart from motorcycles, this showroom also sells UM’s range of motorcycle accessories and apparel. This is the 15th UM dealership in the country. With a target of selling 3,000 motorcycles a month, the company will set up 25 more dealerships by the end of this year. The company has two motorcycles in its range – the Sports S and the Renegade Commando, though we can expect a couple more to be added in the near future.
Based out of the US, UM Motorcycles has set up shop in India in association with Lohia Motors. For now, the company will manufacture its lineup at the latter's manufacturing facility in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, though it eventually plans to invest in a standalone manufacturing unit depending upon the demand.
