UM Motorcycles has hiked the prices of the Renegade Sports S and the Renegade Commando. These models are now priced at Rs 1.57 lakh and Rs 1.64 lakh (both ex-showroom), respectively.
While the price of the Renegade Sports S has been hiked by Rs 8,000, the Renegade Commando is Rs 5,000 pricier than before. UM Motorcycles have attributed this hike to the increase in the cost of raw material and operations. Both the cruisers are powered by a 280cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 25bhp and 21.8Nm of torque through a six-speed transmission.
UM Motorcycles currently has 38 touch points across the country, and is working towards further expanding its network. The company recently launched a 24x7 roadside assistance program to assist customers. While the Renegade Classic has been confirmed for the Indian market for this year, the company is also considering launching an adventure touring motorcycle to compete against the Royal Enfield Himalayan and other similar upcoming bikes.
