jcMoto home products – making the best out of waste

We always hear about recycling plastics, food waste and how it affects our environment. But chances are your parents or teachers never told you about recycling motorcycle parts because even they didn’t know about it or maybe they never liked motorcycles.

Have you ever wondered what happens to motorcycle parts once they get replaced? They all get recycled, but our friends at jcMoto have put a new spin on the word ‘recycling’. This Mumbai-based company which also goes by the name of Garage 52 has launched a range of home products that have been made using used motorcycle parts.

A couple of used spark plugs make up a hanger. If you love to read motorcycle books, the long-stroke bookends might just be the right tool for you. There’s also a Honda table lamp which has been made in Japan (pun intended). If you’re one of those who love to work on your bike on weekends, the disc rotor garage stool might interest you.

The jcMoto home/lifestyle range look great in the photos, but without actually seeing the quality of work it is difficult to judge if the pricing is justified. However, if you’re a petrolhead with the desire to have a unique product in your home or garage that is close to your heart, the price is a small one to pay.
