- 2027 Speed Triple 1200 RS unveiled internationally
- Comes in new Jet Black and Maui Blue trim
- Technical specifications remain unchanged
Triumph has introduced the 2027 Speed Triple 1200 RS in international markets. The motorcycle has received a new colour option while remaining mechanically unchanged.
The updated paint scheme combines Jet Black and Maui Blue with contrasting Tangerine Orange graphics. The fuel tank is a striking combination of black and blue with orange graphics. The tail section, meanwhile, is completely finished in blue, and the orange USD forks add a bit of bling and visual mass to the motorcycle. Triumph will sell a matching flyscreen as an accessory to further accentuate the looks of the bike. The older Granite and Diablo Red colour scheme will continue to be sold alongside this new addition.

The technical specification of the bike remains unaltered, and it continues to be powered by an 1,160cc inline-triple engine, which makes 180.5bhp and 128Nm. The bike tips the scales at 199kg (kerb) and gets a 15.5-litre fuel tank. The RS version comes equipped with Öhlins Smart EC3 semi-active suspension with electronically adjustable damping. It also gets Brembo Stylema brakes, lighter alloy wheels which come wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres. The electronics package is fairly comprehensive with cornering ABS, traction and wheelie control, quick shifter, cruise control, and a five-inch TFT with My Triumph connectivity.
The new MY27 colour option should arrive on Indian shores in the coming months. As of now, it is sold in three colours in India, including Granite/Diablo Red, Granite/Triumph Performance Yellow, and Jet Black, all of which are priced at Rs. 21.76 lakh, ex-showroom. The higher-spec RX is also available for Rs. 23.07 lakh.
