- Comes in a new colour option
- Racing Blue shade gets updated graphics
- Mechanical specifications remain unchanged
Yamaha has launched the 2025 version of the sporty maxi-scooter, the Aerox 155, in India. The company has made it compliant with the new OBD-2B emission norms and gave some visual tweaks to the higher-spec S variant.
The Aerox 155 S version is available in a new Ice Fluo Vermillion colour option, which replaces the Grey Vermillion shade. Moreover, the previous Racing Blue trim has been retained but with updated graphics, which look edgier and lend it a fresh visual appeal. The standard model, meanwhile, will continue to be on sale in Metallic Black trim. As for the prices, the standard and S models are pegged at Rs. 1,50,130 and Rs. 1,53,430, respectively (both prices are ex-showroom). Although Yamaha did not increase the prices of the scooter with this launch, the company silently made it slightly more expensive about a month back.

The technical details of the 2025 Aerox 155 remain the same as the previous model. It is powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 14.75bhp and 13.9Nm. It rides on large 14-inch wheels with telescopic forks and dual springs, while braking duties are handled by a single disc at both ends. It’s quite impressive on the feature front and the list includes LED headlights with LED position lamps at the front, LED taillight, Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, multifunction key, automatic start and stop system, side-stand engine cut-off function, and single-channel ABS. The S version also comes with a Smart Key, which enables a host of convenience-oriented functions.
