- Powered by a 776cc, parallel-twin engine
- Available in three colours
The 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R has been launched in India at Rs. 9.25 lakh, ex-showroom. The bike is now OBD-2B compliant, which makes it meet stringent emission standards. Besides this, there are no changes to the GSX-8R.
The bike is powered by a 776cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with a 270-degree crank that produces 81.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 78Nm at 6,800rpm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.
The design of the bike is attractive and unlike anything we’ve seen from Suzuki in the past. From the vertically stacked LED headlights to the cuts and creases on the fairing and the mildly upswept tail section, the design is quintessentially supersport. The bike is available in three colours-Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Matte Sword Silver, and Metallic Matte Black No.2
In terms of features, the bike gets traction control, bi-directional quickshifter, ride modes, ABS, and an easy start.
When it comes to the Suzuki GSX-8R, the frame of the bike is suspended by a USD fork and a monoshock. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels while braking is taken care of by a pair of dual 310mm discs at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear.
Bookings for the 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R are open at all authorised dealerships.
