The 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R OBD-2B recently went on sale in India at Rs. 9.25 lakh, ex-showroom. The bike is now compliant with the stringent OBD-2B norms and is available in three colours. These are- Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Matte Sword Silver, and Metallic Matte Black No.2.
Powering the bike is a 776cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with a 270-degree crank that produces 81.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 78Nm at 6,800rpm. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.
The bike has a steel frame that is suspended by a USD fork and a monoshock. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels while braking is taken care of by a pair of dual 310mm discs at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear.
Lastly, the design of the bike is quite attractive and unlike what we’ve seen from Suzuki in recent times. From the vertically stacked LED headlight to the sharply designed fairing and the sleek tail section, it cuts a unique shape.
