The updated Royal Enfield Hunter 350 just went on sale in India and it gets a few yet notable changes. Some of the updates, in fact, are based on customer feedback as well and are more than welcome.
New Rear Suspension
The Hunter 350 now gets progressive rear springs instead of the linear springs on the old bike. The stiff ride at the rear was one of the biggest sore points, literally as well, and Royal Enfield seems to have found a solution. The new rear suspension should help isolate bumps more effectively and help the bike stay more settled. This should also help with better control of the motorcycle and we shall confirm this after we test the bike.
New Seat Foam and Handlebar
Along with the new suspension, Royal Enfield has also installed a new seat. It’s shaped differently and meant to offer more support and better cushioning by means of revised foam density. The handlebar is also new, with the edges being slightly tapered towards the rider. This makes it easier and more comfortable to reach the handlebar and should have a small bearing on manoeuvrability as well.

New Colours
The 2025 Hunter 350 is being positioned as a bike for young riders and the bold new colours are an indicator of the same. The new colours are called- Rio White, Tokyo Black, and London Red.
New Exhaust Routing, More Ground Clearance
The Hunter 350 gets a new exhaust routing to help increase ground clearance. The bike now has an additional 10mm of ground clearance. This should help while tackling large speed breakers and potholed roads.
Assist and Slip Clutch
The bike is powered by a 349.34cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and 27Nm at 4,000rpm. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox and now benefits from an assist and slipper clutch as well. This should help reduce the effort required to operate the clutch lever and also prevent rear wheel lock while downshifting aggressively.

New LED Lights and Tripper Navigation
Adding a touch of modernity to this retro-styled motorcycle is the new LED headlight and the Tripper navigation pod that you get on the top-spec Hunter 350. The turn-by-turn navigation system works by means of a smartphone app.
