The Honda Shine 125 finally gets a fully digital instrument cluster. WIth the segment moving to these modern, information rich instrument clusters, it was about time that the Honda Shine 125 kept up with the competition. The new display shows a host of information such as real-time fuel economy, distance to empty and more. Adding to the rider’s convenience is a new USB-C type charger.
New colours
Honda has not tinkered with the design of the motorcycle. It has the same body panels, with emphasis on function over style. While that’s textbook commuter motorcycle design, Honda has attempted to make the Shine 125 look appealing by introducing new colours These are Pearl Igneous Black, Geny Gray Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Decent Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue.
OBD2-compliant engine
The Shine 125 is powered by a OBD2-compliant engine. The 123.94cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine makes 10.63 bhp and 11Nm and is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The engine in the Shine 125 is known for its refinement, rideability and fuel economy.
Wider rear tyre
The Shine has a Diamond type frame that is suspended by a telescopic fork and five-step adjustable dual shock absorbers. While the bike rides on 18-inch alloy wheels, shod with tubeless tyres, it gets a wider, 90mm rear tyre for 2025.
