- Features a modern-retro styling
- India launch unlikely
Honda has once again patented the design of the 2025 Scoopy in India. The Honda Scoopy is a retro-modern scooter, already sold in markets like Indonesia.
True to its original silhouette, the Scoopy retains its signature retro curves and flowing body panels. It sports a crystal‑block LED headlight, round tail lamp, D‑shaped indicators, and a single‑piece seat.

Powering the 2025 Honda Scoopy is the familiar 109.5cc, air‑cooled engine delivering 9bhp and 9.2Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with an automatic CVT unit.
The scooter uses an underbone chassis, suspension on telescopic forks, and a rear monoshock. It rides on 12‑inch alloy wheels, while braking duties are handled by a disc brake at the front and a rear drum brake.
Features list includes an LCD instrument console, Smart key with keyless ignition, LED lighting all around, and an anti‑theft alarm.

Earlier patent filings haven't resulted in a market launch in India, and this latest patent could be just that. However, if Honda plans to launch the Scoopy in India, it will rival the likes of the Yamaha Fascino and the Vespa S.
