- New Splendor Plus spotted with a front disc brake
- New colour options also leaked
Hero might soon launch the new 2025 iteration of its best-selling two-wheeler, the Splendor Plus. The updated model was recently spotted at what looks like a dealer stockyard, giving away the nature of the changes it has received.
The most notable update it gets is a front disc brake which looks like the same unit as on the Splendor Plus Xtec, a more modern iteration of the motorcycle with a digital screen. This will certainly enhance the safety quotient of the bike with better stopping power as compared to the existing drum brake setup. The rear continues to boast a drum brake setup.

Another update will come in the form of new colour options two of which can be seen in the source video. One of them is the swanky red colour variant with golden decals while the other trim is finished in an understated grey shade. Moreover, the engine should be compliant with upcoming OBD-2B norms but that should not bring along any significant change to the specifications. It comes powered by a 97.2cc, air-cooled engine that produces 7.91bhp and 8.05Nm and comes mated to a four-speed gearbox.
As of now, the ex-showroom prices of the Hero Splendor Plus start from Rs. 77,176 and go up to Rs. 79,926, ex-showroom. These prices may witness a marginal increment with the aforementioned update.
