- Most affordable Ducati in India
- Rs. 94,000 cheaper than the Scrambler Icon
Ducati has launched its most affordable offering, the Scrambler Icon Dark, in India with a price tag of Rs. 9.97 lakh, ex-showroom. That makes its Rs. 94,000 more affordable than the Scrambler Icon.
The motorcycle mainly distinguishes itself through the dark visual theme with blacked-out bodywork, engine, and cycle parts. The Icon Dark also gets a smoked headlamp lens and misses out on the tiny underseat cowl that’s installed on the Icon standard model. For those who want to customise the bike to their taste, Ducati offers a host of accessories such as exhausts, seats, and coloured covers. In all other aspects, the former is the same as the latter.

Powering the bike is an 803cc, air-oil/cooled, L-Twin engine that produces 73bhp at 8,250rpm and 65Nm at 7,000rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox with an up/down quickshifter. The Scrambler’s tubular steel trellis frame is suspended by a USD fork and a preload adjustable monoshock made by Kayaba. The bike rides on an 18-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel shod with Pirelli MT 60 RS tyres. In terms of features, there is a new, 4.3-inch colour TFT display with phone connectivity, four-level traction control, cornering ABS, and two riding modes- Road and Sport. With a kerb weight of 185kg, it pretty light and boasts an impressive power-to-weight ratio.
Bookings for the new Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark have already commenced in all dealerships across India and it is ready for delivery.
