- Weighs 18kg less than before
- Offered in two variants - standard and S
- Powered by an 890cc twin-cylinder motor
Ducati has taken the wraps off the updated Multistrada V2 and the Italian ADV has gone through an array of changes for 2025. Here is what it looks like and has to offer now.
While the aesthetic changes may not be as prominent as the mechanical ones, the 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 still looks handsome and comes in typical red paint scheme. It has managed to shred off some weight and is now 18kg lighter than the outgoing model. Ducati is offering the Multistrada V2 in two variants - standard and S. The base model weighs 199kg and the S trim tips the scale at 202kg.
Powering the 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 is a new motor - 890cc twin-cylinder engine dishing out 115bhp and 92.1Nm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a bi-directional quickshifter. Along with the new engine, Ducati has also opted for a new monocoque frame for the Multistrada V2 instead of a previous trellis frame.
The setup is suspended on fully adjustable Marzochhi USD forks and monoshock. It gets dual 320mm front and a single 265mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. These are mounted on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels wrapped in 120/70 front and 170/60 rear tyres.
Ducati has loaded the Multistrada V2 with a long list of electronics including traction control, ABS modes, suspension setup, ride modes, power modes, wheelie control, and more.
We expect Ducati to bring the updated Multistrada V2 to India sometime in early 2025.
