- Gets new brake pads
- New, wider tyres installed
- Price increase seems to be justified
The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is all set to be launched soon. The bike has already begun reaching dealerships, and word is that it is likely to be priced around Rs. 1.90 lakh to Rs. 1.92 lakh, ex-showroom. That still makes this near-400cc motorcycle sit below the Rs. 2 lakh, and that makes for excellent value when you consider the price-to-performance ratio.
The increase in the price seems to be justified considering the updates that the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z gets. The bike gets new Apollo H1 tyres, with the rear tyre now being a wider, 150-section tyre instead of the 140-section MRF Revz. While the MRFs were decent, the Apollo Alpha H1s are stickier and have a more aggressive profile. That should make the Pulsar slightly quicker to tip into corners.
Another welcome change is the introduction of sintered brake pads in replacement of organic brake pads on the outgoing bike. This should improve both brake bite and feedback significantly while also reducing any instances of brake fade.
Considering the performance on offer, better tyres and brakes are always going to be a welcome change. Speaking of performance, the Pulsar NS400Z is powered by a 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 39.4bhp and 35Nm.
In terms of features, the bike gets all-LED lights, switchable traction control, and four ride modes- Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-road.
