Hero MotoCorp is all set to unveil a 600cc superbike, codenamed Hastur at the 2014 Auto Expo set to commence in few days. This makes this bike the first superbike developed by the Gurgaon based manufacturer.
ET has managed to procure an image of the bike which looks more of a prototype model rather a production ready motorcycle. This bike is expected to have an aggressive street-fighter look, big sporty tyres, performance tyres and yellow coloured metal frame. This bike has been designed keeping international markets in mind but may be launched in India.
"Going by the initial look of the bike, it seems to have been designed for the international markets, but it is likely to be launched in the domestic market as well at some stage, where super bikes sales are one of the fastest in the world," said a source to ET.
We are sure this bike has been developed with their American technology partner, Erik Buel Racing and AVL We don’t have any information on the technical specifications yet but we will get that for you as soon as the company officially unveils this bike at 2014 Auto Expo.
